Thank you Gary Zapzalka!!!
After 15 years of representing Excel Images, Gary Zapzalka has retired effective July 1, 2016.
Gary is the oldest of 10 children, and grew up on a farm in Sobieski, MN. He graduated from Little Falls High School and immediately started farming with his father. After serving his country in the Army, he worked at Camp Ripley. His sales career started when he worked for P.J.’s Sporting Goods in Little Falls. After purchasing P.J.’s, he merged it with Rheaume’s House of Lettering in St. Augusta, Mn.
Gary met Jack Gunnarson in 1997 and the two quickly formed a strong personal and professional relationship. On July 11, 2001 Excel Images hired Gary as a sales representative. His extensive industry knowledge and customer base helped establish Excel Images, Inc. as one of the regional leaders in the decorated apparel and promotional products industry.
Gary’s optimism, enthusiasm, endless energy, contagious laugh, enviable work ethic and business integrity were unmatched. His personal interest in the well-being of his customers was always foremost in his mind.
Being an avid sports fanatic, Gary always talked about the importance of being a team player. He loved his work, this fellow employees and his customers.
Most of all, he made sure to provide time for his family, never putting his career ahead of what’s most important.
Although we can’t replace what Gary brought to Excel Images, we can continue to build on what he helped establish.
Thanks Gary, for 15 years of exemplary service. You’ll always be a member of the Excel Images Team.
